Friday night brought a trio of pivotal third-game finales of the best-of-three series that decided the fate for teams battling to reach the championship weekend of the 2017 HSBN Fall Classic. The Davie Wildcats held off BBA Baseball 5-1 to earn a spot in Sunday’s 16U championship, where they will face the Pines Panthers. The Panthers swept the South Florida Anglers to advance to their second Fall Classic championship.

In Friday’s 18U action, the Dragons clubbed their way to an 11-6 victory over the Knights and the Paladins cruised to an 8-1 victory over the Lions to secure their spots in Saturday’s 18U Semifinals. The Dragons will take on the Broward Patriots for the chance to advance to the 18U Finals, while the Paladins will square off against The Dawgs in Saturday’s other semifinal.

The 18U championship game will be played Sunday afternoon immediately following the 16U title game.
